Lisa Alexander is a Senior Project Coordinator for LACO Associates providing support in funding and business development. Ms. Alexander graduated from California State University, Chico and her previous work experience includes working as the Executive Director of the Greater Ukiah Chamber of Commerce as well as the Ukiah Main Street Program where she developed relationships with local business owners, City staff and other members of the community. In that work, Ms. Alexander enthusiastically shared, resources with small business owners to support the development or improvement of their businesses, as well as fostering relationships in the community to benefit all parties involved. By planning, coordinating and orchestrating several large well attended local events for the purpose of community engagement and fund raising, Alexander gained vast experience in strengthening public relations and identifying community needs.
At LACO, Ms. Alexander’s work includes researching various federal and state grant opportunities which may benefit clients and supporting the development of grant applications to various sources. These funding streams include but are not limited to: Prop 68 Grant Programs, Cal Fire, and CDFW. Ms. Alexander has also provided support for the submittal of multiple FEMA HMGP grant applications.
