“I want to be able to write something that makes a difference.”
Katherine Duncan originally joined us as a Planning Intern earlier in the year and returns as our newest Assistant Planner. She rejoins LACO after earning a degree in Environmental Science (policy) and a minor in Water Resources Policy at Humboldt State University. Her experience as an intern included creating a fact sheet for the public and planners on updated cannabis water policy, how to apply for a State Water Board permit, and more. We are happy to welcome her and appreciate the knowledge and personality she brings to the LACO team. Her drive embodies our mission, to advance the quality of life for generations to come.
