Mr. Jordan Blough has worked for LACO Associates since 2015 as both a Staff Analyst and Economic Development Specialist, providing project coordination and management, grant writing and proposal development, technical writing, business development and market analysis, and serving as a project liaison to both clients and regulatory agencies. Mr. Blough graduated with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both English and Sociology from the University of California, Davis, and his previous work experience includes time spent as a Proposal Coordinator for Gary Bess Associates, a specialty grant writing firm in Paradise, California, where he became familiar with the requirements associated with applying for, managing, and complying with large private, State, and Federal grant awards for both public agencies and non-profits. With LACO Associates, Mr. Blough has led or supported the development of numerous grant application submittals to the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (including project benefit-cost analysis), Proposition 1 applications to multiple state agencies, including the Department of Water Resources, State Water Resources Control Board, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), the CDFW Fisheries Restoration Grant Program, and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, securing over $9.5 million in funding since 2018. Mr. Blough also coordinates the tracking and monitoring of upcoming federal and state grant solicitations, including identifying relevant opportunities for clients.
