Cathy Elawadly is an Administrative Assistant for LACO Associates contributing professional office support to team members to effectively promote, enhance and provide for an efficient operation relative to the many engineering consulting services LACO offers. Ms. Elawadly is a college graduate of Humboldt State University with a B.A. degree in business and has attended Mendocino Community College, Sonoma State University, and other educational institutions pursuant of varied interests/applications in the area of law, continued business-related subjects, sustainment of further education to update professional skills and development of personal growth/awareness. Her professional career is extensive and includes nine years with a financial institution, 11 years law experience as a legal assistant in a variety of areas of law, and 20 years in local government at the City of Ukiah in Administration and Planning/Building & Community Development functioning primarily as an interdepartmental support person and technical writer for such Commissions/Boards as the Ukiah Planning Commission, Zoning Administrator, City Engineer, Design Review Board, Paths, Creeks and Open Space Commission to name some, and was acting Deputy City Clerk.

As a newcomer to LACO Associates, Ms. Elawadly is excited to work with highly qualified, enthusiastic professional individuals allowing her to extend/express her willingness and dedication to provide utmost support thereof to this business organization.
