Team Member Spotlight

Hometown? Years in Profession?
“Willits, CA, 6 years.”
Before working at LACO, what was the most unusual or interesting job you had?
“My favorite job was working at a toy store in high school, I loved helping people find gifts and of course having fun with the latest toys! I did spend some time working at a lei stand at the Kailua-Kona airport, which was not something I ever expected to do! It was fun to watch people come and go and experience the rush of people during arrivals and departures compared to the quietness of the airport in between flights.”
What have you gained from working at LACO?
“Grateful to be working for a supportive employer that encourages teamwork and personal growth.”
How do you define success?
“I think often people are too quick to name something as a “success” or “failure” or use other people’s standards to define their success. I feel successful when I am doing my best to help others, learning and growing in the process, and staying true to myself.”
Why do you do what you do?
“I like numbers and keeping things organized! It is fulfilling to me to help things run smoothly.”
You are happiest when?
“Outdoors in the sunshine, hiking and exploring…”
